Many options are available, within and in proximity of the Reserve, for visitors wanting to spend the night or taste the regional cuisine. The complex of the Sanctuary disposes of approximately 300 rooms to cater all needs, 12 restaurants and a camper van area. For those preferring the higher altitudes the best option is to try the hospitality of our mountain refuges.

• Sanctuary of Oropa
The very heart of the Reserve, arguably the most imposing Marian Sanctuary of the Alps, disposes of approximately 300 rooms of 4 categories with relevant pricing, Tourist, Comfort, Junior Suite and Suite.

• Restaurants at the Sanctuary
The restaurants and bars of the Sanctuary specialize in the regional cuisine, particularly the local delicacy, the ‘polenta d’Oropa’, boiled cornmeal shimmered with butter and mountain cheese.

• “Capanna Renata” Refuge
The refuge is built on the top of Mount Camino, at 2390 mtr., offering a spectacular sweeping view of the Alps and a comfortable overnight stay. Easily reachable from Oropa by cableway and gondola lift.

• “Rosazza” Refuge
The refuge is located at a few minutes’ walk from the arrival of the cableway, at 1850 mtr.
